Parkash Singh Badal is an Indian politician who has been the Chief Minister of Punjab since 2007. He previously served as Chief Minister from 1970 to 1971, from 1977 to 1980, and from 1997 to 2002. He is also the patron of Shiromani Akali Dal, a Sikh-centered regional political party based in Punjab.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਜਰਵਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ 'ਚ ਮੁਲਕ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬਹੁ-ਉਦੇਸ਼ੀ 'ਖੇਡ ਪਾਰਕ' ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰੀ ਘਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਲਬਰੇਜ਼ ਇਸ ਪਾਰਕ 'ਚ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ, ਜਿੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਤਰੋ-ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਰੀਬ 50 ਲੱਖ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਇਸ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ 'ਚ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਇਹੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਮਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal laid the foundation stone of Punjab Kisan Vikas Chamber (PKVC) at Mohali. Punjab Kisan Vikas Chamber (PKVC) will be a Farmers’ advisory body, first of its kind in the country that would prove to be a milestone in putting the views of eminent agriculture experts and economists across to farmers.
